DUTIES

  • Monitor the grant administration process and responsibility to ensure uniformity and standardisation.
  • Identify non-compliance with policies and procedures and take corrective action.
  • Proactively resolve issues and problems emanating from grant administration process.
  • Liaise and cooperate with other supervisors with regards to process related issues.
  • Approve/rejection of grants applications.
  • Check completeness of documents and supporting documents.

  • Process other grant documentation/perform other grants value chain functions.
  • Oversee the quality of the administration of social grants and advice on policies and process within grants value chain.

PSA MEMBER

Became a PSA member in 2005 when I first started joining public service and was elected a shop steward in 2012 and re-elected in 2016 to date. Have been very active in raising awareness amongst members on matters pertaining to basic conditions of employment and rights of workers in the workplace. Assisting and empowering workers with the fundamental basics of Labour Relations Act and all other laws and prescripts including policies that govern employer employee relationships at the workplace.

  • Write investigation report for the approval of the Regional Executive Manager
