The resort is nestled in lush indigenous dune forest and situated at the Quenera Mouth East (18km east of East London) of the Gonubie River and close to the beach. We are a coastal resort and are committed in bringing you ultimate relaxation and tranquility. Some of the best saltwater fishing can be enjoyed, combined with unpolluted and uncrowned safe swimming and a bird and nature lovers' paradise. If a relaxed venue is what you are looking for, with walks along the peaceful beaches - look no further! Your only disturbance will be the chirping of the numerous bird species. The resort still manages to retain some of its old fashioned values blended with a dollop of laidback charm. To ensure absolute peace of mind the resort is enclosed with an electrified security fence. The resort is evaluated annually by the AA for quality assurance and has a rating of Highly Recommended Resort with Varied Accommodation.
Accommodation
The Resort offers ten fully equipped chalets (most with a sea view) There is a choice of two or three bedroom chalets. Each chalet has a fully equipped kitchenette, inside and outside braai as well as undercover parking.
The caravan park and camping sites consists of 110 semi-shaded demarcated stands. 90 have electricity and water points nearby. All stands are level and large enough to accommodate all types of tents and caravans. The park further offers clean electrified ablution blocks with gas geysers, fully equipped sculleries and coin operated laundry facilities.
