Adv Rashied Daniels

Adv Rashied Daniels was born on 24 October 1974 in Cape Town in the Western Cape. He matriculated in 1992 at Rocklands High School in Mitchells Plain. He obtained a B Iuris Degree in 1997 and a LLB Degree in 2004 from the University of Western Cape.

His career in the Public Service began in 1999 when he joined the National Prosecuting Authority as Prosecutor in Clanwilliam. He moved through the ranks as a District Court Prosecutor, Advanced District Court Prosecutor, District Control Prosecutor, Regional Court Prosecutor, Advanced Regional Court Prosecutor and Regional Court Control Prosecutor and in 2007 he was promoted to Senior Public Prosecutor. In April 2009 he was appointed as a Senior State Advocate at the Organised Crime Component.

He is also very active in the community and is currently involved with Sector Policing, the Community Police Forum and Civic Organisations in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. In all these institutions he serves as legal advisor and spearheads strategy in these organisations.
